#22 DEAR NEWYORK
I wanna thank you for everything. We’ve had our ups and downs but I would do it all over again without a doubt. Somewhere in my second week I’ve sat in the back of a cab, exhausted and confused, thinking about giving up. But every time I felt out of it you made sure to show me the nice little things you have to offer. A good musician in the subway, sunlight shining down on the streets. So glad I didn’t give up cause begin here toughened me up, made me more certain that becoming a stylist is what I want in life. No matter how hard it will get sometimes. You offered me opportunities I could only dream of before I came here.
The idea of leaving makes me sad, Wednesday is already around the corner. My bags are almost packed, tonight a big last supper with the family. I’m trying to remind myself that leaving is just the end of a chapter, not the end of the whole book. I don’t know if I’ve shared this already but I’ll be back in September to start working as the assistant of a stylist.
At last I would like to thank the amazing people I’ve met here. Thank you all for showing me around, for working and partying with me, for bringing me breakfast in bed, for de-stressing me and for making the city me home.
A big kiss for everyone, I’ll be back!
